Designed to rally big mountain terrain and conquer World Cup podiums, the Switchblade has proven itself equally adept at getting you to the grocery store and ripping down your local hill safely. The mellow drops, long wheelbase and low ride height combine to offer a drifty, confidence-inspiring board for riders looking to up their freeride game. The Switchblade 38 is the more compact version, offering a little bit more agility and grip, as well as being easier to ride for smaller riders.

The Switchblade is a double dropped freeride shape that is designed to give you a low, comfortable platform for exploring big hills as well as getting around town as quickly as possible. Deep concave and foot pockets at the drops give you the reference points you need to explore the limits of your freeriding, and the 9 ply maple construction keeps the board stiff and under control. The 38 is the smaller of the two sizes we offer, measuring 38" long by 9.8" wide and offers a little more grip and agility. This board comes set up with 180mm Gen 6 Grizzly trucks and 70mm 80a Mini Zombie Hawgs wheels for premium freeride capabilities straight out of the box.

Sick!

I love it! I've had it since April 2020 and have put it through the ringer. I call it my "swissblade" because it can do everything you want it to. I run Caguamas on it for LDP and the stock hawgs for downhill freeride and it rips. The board is much lighter than I had anticipated, everyone had warned me that it's a pain to carry around. I only rate it 4/5 stars as it's not the "perfect" complete that Landyachtz claims, which is subjective of course, but there is one thing that is an absolute must on a drop through deck and that is washers to spread the weight and prevent cracks around the mounts. No problem, quick fix, but be sure to throw some on before you take it for a rip. Mine also came ever-so-slightly warped but it flattens out when I ride it, also no problem. The bushings are meh. Tidier hardware would be cool but that's a nitpick. The build quality is great, it should last a very long time. Rated it as "super-stable" but has no problem busting out carves with better bushings. Would not hesitate to buy another if mine disappeared tomorrow.

Amazing board, loved it the moment I stepped on it!

Was looking to get back into skateboarding, but decided longboarding was better for commuting/cruising. Took it to a park trail and instantly loved the feel. Was super low to the ground, so it was very stable, but had tons of fun carving. My feet felt locked in, and the concave wasn't too deep that it was uncomfortable for long distances. Thanks Wolf!

My favorite board so far

I bought this board after a few years off of skating and wow did i get hooked again. I bought the 40 inch as an upgrade from my drop carve 36 that i use as a cruiser mostly as the 40 inch suits my height better; im 6ft tall, 200lbs. This board can do it all, bomb hills, carve, freeride, and cruise. Its a super smooth, super solid ride. I cant wait for the warmer weather to take it out again!

Bombs Away

I actually ordered a different board and was informed it was out of stock. My man Wolf made the recommendation to check this one out. I am glad I did. Fun, fast and beautiful. Definitely a keeper. Thanks again, Wolf!
