Ok, so I'm a bit on the larger side. at 6' and 250lbs the ski is just barely large enough to get some good carving. I found that in order to have any degree of control, I needed to be going fast. like really fast.
In order to get the speed up, ended up moving the deck back as far as it could go. This got the speed up and I had more control when hill bombing, but paradoxically, less control at lower speeds.
Would like a smaller top deck option as well as a longer ski option. 100cm can be tough if you are as fond of pizza as I am.
Rock solid construction; no concerns about build quality.
10/10 would buy again, but if you are larger like me, understand I had to make some sacrifices to get the control i needed

this is the best snowskate I could hope to get. I('ts a great length, nice and sturdy, and only took about a week to get here! If you are considering buying this, DO IT.

Used friends, definitely good when you look into prices of other snowskates. The 35 is the best for beginners or more street type skaters. It be perfect for downhill skaters that have the winter blues. Just know it's similar to skating downhill, but there is somethings different. You will have to relearn somethings if you don't have a solid snowboard background. BUT, I do know some people are preferring this more now to downhill skating. Can't blow a spot, no karens, more variety in runs, more people are stoked seeing you on the hill, and get a magical couch ride that takes you back to the top of the hill lol.
No I won't be ditching my snowboard for one anytime in future, I'm a snowboarder who skates. There is alot that a snowboard can do that a snowskate can't. Where at most a snowskate has over a snowboard is your feet can dangle off the chair lift, you fall more closer to like a skier, and can get certain skate flip tricks once get better. It's for the people who skate that snowboard, people who are more interested in something different, or a snowboarder that wants a extra toy to play around on for the novelty.
Before you buy one, make sure the ski hill you go to will allow it. Some hills have out dated insurance or more ski based stuck in the past.

Cool, we were not sure about the grip without a binding.
Deck works very well and is not icing or gets stuck with snow. Much Fun and we will try it out on a mountain slope within the next 2 weeks from today since we have snow now here in Bavaria Germany. All the Best, D.
