One Board One Tree

To give back to the environment we have decided that for every skateboard we sell, we plant a tree. One tree produces at least 60 boards. So with our program, one tree will turn into at least 60 new trees planted.

100% Canadian Maple

Canadian Maple is a strong and proven material used in the world’s best skateboards. We source only the finest veneers found in Eastern Canada.

Kicktail

Take your skating into the third dimension with a kicktail. We design our kicktails to work perfectly with each deck shape as well as with the truck and wheel setup on each complete.

LOW CAVE

Mellow concave that barely feels like it’s there, but designed to give you the control you need, when you need it.

SANDED WHEEL WELLS

Wheel wells reduce the risk of wheel-bite by increasing the gap between wheels and deck. Sanded or CNC’d wheel wells both allow for larger wheels or looser trucks, if desired.

At 32.5” long and a maximum width of 9.9”, this maverick is more like a white-water raft than a life raft. The stability and control offered by the Raft’s wide platform means you won’t just be surviving your daily commute, you’ll be thriving. The concave is quite aggressive without being intrusive and the deck itself has a fantastic taper which comes down to a 9” width at the front truck and an 8.6” width at the back truck. This makes for a slightly directional feel which can handle pretty much any type of riding style. The 130mm Polar Bear trucks and 63mm Fatty Hawgs give this board an extremely responsive feel and lots of roll speed.

Flex Rating

So, what’s flex and why is it important to a skateboard? In skate-nerd terms, flex is the amount of displacement a deck sees when a specific amount of force is applied to it. Check out our formula to the left! There are a few factors that affect flex, like deck thickness, wheelbase, and the amount of force on a deck. We built a machine and put our entire lineup to the test by applying the exact same amount of force to all our boards and measured the displacement we saw in each. This gives a totally scientific and accurate flex range across our entire line! It’s important to understand flex when choosing a board. Here are some basics: Downhill/freeride skateboards will have less flex because you need a stiff platform to stand on when you’re bombing or gripping a corner at speed. Carving skateboards will have more flex, giving you the ability to sink into your turns and pump or carve with ease. Most cruisers, dance and ATV boards will have less flex for control when doing tricks but just enough to be forgiving when pushing around town. We’ve engineered our boards with the best flex for each style of riding but remember, flex is subjective so get out a see what you like the most!

Raft solitaire review(update since Nov. '22)

This board has been outstanding to me and the abuse I've put it though! The concave in itself eliminates wheelbite, even with 1/4" risers added to lower it down a bit. Has been rolled tumbled and nosed into a car rim... have been amazed with the durability. Thought it was a bit front heavy, but with the adjustable truck mounts, was able to get the front end a bit shorter and it feels perfect. Super easy to slide on too!

A very good board.

I've been riding the Raft Solitaire for about six months now and can say that I really do love it. It's not perfect. As another reviewer pointed out, its front heavy and me living in a major city, I found that problematic while skating sidewalks. After some experimentation I now have it dialed in to a configuration that works best for me. I swapped out the Bear 130mm trucks and replaced them with Independent 139mm Stage 11 Hollow trucks. The deck is wide so I find 139mm are a better fit for the width. I also replaced the 1/2 Bear risers with 1/4 Independent risers. And I replaced the 63mm Fatty Hawgs with the new 63mm DOOZIES. This made a big difference. This is my go to board now and I ride it every day!

White water rafting

I love this board it is big so it is good for beginners it also has great speed and turning. I found the spacers to be a little high to I cut there size in half. It is a little front heavy on side walks and could benefit from a little wider wheel base if your listing land yatchts. Over all I would give it a 8.5/10 I love the board but it’s not my favorite that I own. Also I don’t know if they switched materials for there images but the board quality is great and you can never go wrong with having wheel wells
