I started skateboarding a little over a month ago. I purchased the ATV night fox as my first board ever at the age of 35. I thought it was amazing. A few weeks of learning the basics I met a few younger people who were long boarding. After trying their boards out I knew a longboard was what I was looking for.
Being happy with what I had from Landyachtz I knew I had to stay with the same company. I started to watch videos and I came across the drop cat 38. The looks of it was what got my attention first over everything else.
I immediately ordered it and waited impatiently until it came through the mail. When I opened the box I was amazed at how much better in person it looked. I took it outside and pushed off for the first time. It took no time at all to feel comfortable on it. The way it’s low to the ground makes pushing so easy. It really does lock your feet in place.
I already felt confident for the most part on my ATV but I felt like I’ve been skateboarding for a lot longer on the drop cat. It’s very stable and I’ve noticed my footing dosent have to be perfect or else I feel like I’m unbalanced.
I can push forever on this board and not get tired. I don’t bomb hills since I’m still learning but I’ve gone down a few less steep hills and it’s very fun. I just have to know when to foot brake before my speed picks up too much.
I can keep talking highly about this board but I don’t think anyone will actually read all this. If you have, just buy it. You won’t regret it.
