One Board One Tree

To give back to the environment we have decided that for every skateboard we sell, we plant a tree. One tree produces at least 60 boards. So with our program, one tree will turn into at least 60 new trees planted.

100% Canadian Maple

Canadian Maple is a strong and proven material used in the world’s best skateboards. We source only the finest veneers found in Eastern Canada.

CNC WHEEL WELLS

Wheel wells reduce the risk of wheel-bite by increasing the gap between wheels and deck. Sanded or CNC’d wheel wells both allow for larger wheels or looser trucks, if desired.

FLUSH MOUNT

Flush mounted decks have recessed truck mounts to ensure the most precise ride and control over your trucks.

SYMMETRICAL

Go both ways with symmetrical board design. Generally found in freeride and downhill decks, these boards allow the rider to skate both regular and switch without changing up their stance.

The CG is your one stop shop for any form of four wheeled, cement surfing, gravity assisted shredding performance. There was a lot of different skate styles taken into consideration when this board was being designed, which resulted in a very versatile deck. The 100 percent symmetrical shape and mould give you the ability to swap over into your switch stance at the drop of a hat, while maintaining awesome confidence. The flares and the micro drops allow you to maintain awareness of your foot positioning without ever having to look down at the board. These features in the concave are prominent enough to use as references for your foot positioning, but not prominent enough to be intrusive or uncomfortable. Whether you are freeriding or racing, hands down or standup sliding, the board keeps your feet locked in. There are many wheelbase options which allow you to set up the board for many different settings.

One trick the Cheese Grater has up its sleeve is those fully functioning kicktails. The shortest wheelbase will create an ideal geometry in the tails to allow the board to pop wicked ollies! If you want more stability, and ollies are not important to your riding style, you will want to opt for one of the longer wheelbase options. If you are a fan of directional setups, you can set your front truck on the shortest option and your back truck on one of the longer options. This allows you to have your front foot overtop of the front baseplate while still maintaining the ability to adjust your wheelbase. A staggered wheelbase setup of this type is ideal for racing. This board has a huge standing platform with lots of surface area, so it allows you to really play around with your foot positioning and throw down all kinds of crazy slides. It works best with slippery round lipped wheels and some seriously aggressive grip tape, but the stock grip tape also feels great. This board comes stock with 40-degree, 6th generation Bear Grizzly trucks, with 85a bushings. The wheels are 63mm EZ Hawgs, with the newly revised rounded lip which offers more consistent slides - Alex.

Flex Rating

So, what’s flex and why is it important to a skateboard? In skate-nerd terms, flex is the amount of displacement a deck sees when a specific amount of force is applied to it. Check out our formula to the left! There are a few factors that affect flex, like deck thickness, wheelbase, and the amount of force on a deck. We built a machine and put our entire lineup to the test by applying the exact same amount of force to all our boards and measured the displacement we saw in each. This gives a totally scientific and accurate flex range across our entire line! It’s important to understand flex when choosing a board. Here are some basics: Downhill/freeride skateboards will have less flex because you need a stiff platform to stand on when you’re bombing or gripping a corner at speed. Carving skateboards will have more flex, giving you the ability to sink into your turns and pump or carve with ease. Most cruisers, dance and ATV boards will have less flex for control when doing tricks but just enough to be forgiving when pushing around town. We’ve engineered our boards with the best flex for each style of riding but remember, flex is subjective so get out a see what you like the most!

Cool board

Ride and feel of the board is excellent. But it’s a heavy board. Very solid.

Cheddar or Swiss?

If you aren't riding a cheesegrater, I don't know what you're riding. This thing is insane; As someone who has been riding a Landyachtz EVO for as long as I've been skating, I was nervous about getting a top mounted board because I thought it was going to feel so much higher and more unstable than the EVO that I love. But fear not, if the EVO is a corvette, then the cheesegrater is a corvette with a lift kit on it. It feels just as good, it cradles your feet with the geometry of the board shape, and it doesn't feel high off the ground. You can tell it is a downhill board with unlimited free-ride potential, It's been a joy to bomb hills or just cruise around on the cheesegrater, and If they are in stock, you need to buy one.

The shreddiest board ever

By far my favorite board always a go to even if it’s raining. I love finding new foot holds when switching the truck positions. It’s heavy but so is the weight of existence

Absolute ripper

This board has been awesome. I slapped some snakes on there and haven't had traction in days, I'm still sliding while I'm writing this. The shortest wheelbase option is amazing for effortlessly pushing slides out and I can't wait to try some of the suggestions for downhill setup. What can't this board do?

Be sure to check the speed washers, had 2 at one wheel and none on another so I had to straighten that out but easy fix. Also the trucks blah blah user preference comment blah blah but other than that I'm loving it
