Will it freeride? Obviously. Will it also grip? Heck yes! Clayton Arthurs is one of the most versatile members of the Landyachtz team and he wanted his pro board to be able to make the switch from race track to slide jam just as comfortably as he can. The Blaze is designed to be equally effective with small slalom trucks on it for tons of grip, or with 155mm symmetrical trucks and freeride wheels for huge standup slides.

One Board One Tree

To give back to the environment we have decided that for every skateboard we sell, we plant a tree. One tree produces at least 60 boards. So with our program, one tree will turn into at least 60 new trees planted.

100% Canadian Maple

Canadian Maple is a strong and proven material used in the world’s best skateboards. We source only the finest veneers found in Eastern Canada.

DEEP CAVE

Concave designed to really lock your feet in while adding responsiveness and control.

MULTI WHEELBASE

Precisely dial in your ride with multiple mounting options for your trucks.

PRE-CURED FIBERGLASS

Fiberglass is a lightweight yet extremely resilient material, used to either add extra stiffness to a solid maple board, or replace some maple plys and provide a snappy flex to a thinner flexy board.

Fenders

Also known as pressed wheel wells, flares are part of the board shape. The resulting bumps in the concave on top allow for larger wheels, looser trucks, and provide better control and more precise foot placement.

Flex Rating

So, what’s flex and why is it important to a skateboard? In skate-nerd terms, flex is the amount of displacement a deck sees when a specific amount of force is applied to it. Check out our formula to the left! There are a few factors that affect flex, like deck thickness, wheelbase, and the amount of force on a deck. We built a machine and put our entire lineup to the test by applying the exact same amount of force to all our boards and measured the displacement we saw in each. This gives a totally scientific and accurate flex range across our entire line! It’s important to understand flex when choosing a board. Here are some basics: Downhill/freeride skateboards will have less flex because you need a stiff platform to stand on when you’re bombing or gripping a corner at speed. Carving skateboards will have more flex, giving you the ability to sink into your turns and pump or carve with ease. Most cruisers, dance and ATV boards will have less flex for control when doing tricks but just enough to be forgiving when pushing around town. We’ve engineered our boards with the best flex for each style of riding but remember, flex is subjective so get out a see what you like the most!

Next level snappyness

This is the most well built, and controllable board I've ever had the pleasure of riding. Quite an upgrade from my arbor pintail

Amazing board

Love it. It carries so much momentum. It my first proper downhill board. I believe i have already went my max speed which is 30mph at the moment. My only other downhill board is a switch 40 with i still love considering it was my first board. But i love the smaller blaze. I will have to argue with myself over witch board to downhill on.

Incredible board for both DH and Freeriding

I usually ride carbon boards for DH but wanted to try the Blaze for freeriding and oh boy was I in for a surprise. All of my other setups are dead now. Just by swapping trucks I have a narrow race setup and a wonderful FR setup. The mellower drop compared to the freedive opens so many possibilities. Don’t get me started with the wheelbase options. There are so many lol.

The construction is solid, the W just perfect, the drop at the back is perfect. Overall I’m really enjoying the board. My only gripe is the flush mounting. I get that people want to have lower setups but unless using risers most precision trucks feel offf.
