I haven't skateboarded since I was a teenager, but my toddler has a scooter and a skateboard, so I bought this Landyachtz Battle Axe so that I could join her on the asphalt. Of course, it's banged up already, but it's holding up very well. The trucks were smooth from the get-go and remain smooth and solid after a month or two of riding a couple of times a week. The top of the board is very grippy, which is nice because the flex in the board can freak out a new/returning rider at times. It feels great—very responsive, even for a longboard. (I love drop designs, which I wasn't aware of when I was a kid, or I might have kept it up.) The And the art is great—not as obviously colonial or appropriative as on lots of other boards. Oh, and it shipped coast to coast amazingly fast, thanks in part to very prompt processing at Landyachtz. Thanks!
