Landyachtz has always promoted the societal and individual benefits riding a skateboard brings to communities. Now, we're turning the spotlight to students and inviting them to illustrate their perspectives on these benefits.

Whether it’s the freedom of having easy and efficient transportation, the health benefits of being active, or just a rad story from your life that skateboarding was a part of, we want to hear from you!

Why did Landyachtz create a scholarship?

  • We want people thinking and talking about the benefits of skateboarding.

  • The value of education cannot be overstated. Landyachtz invests in the environment through our One-Board-One-Tree program, invests(changed the tense to match previous) in people empowering themselves and in society’s(possessive not plural) potential is (the) logical next step for us.

  • Skateboarding has always been embraced by artists and thinkers. We want to see the unique perspective of today’s youth toward our passion for living a non-traditional life style.

Why “What’s good with skateboarding"?

  • We believe that your recreation should fit into and improve your life. Skateboarding improves lives through mental and physical exercise. Happier, healthier people improve communities.

  • This is just scratching the surface, we want to see and hear stories that illustrate and highlight the specifics behind our beliefs.
