One Board One Tree

To give back to the environment we have decided that for every skateboard we sell, we plant a tree. One tree produces at least 60 boards. So with our program, one tree will turn into at least 60 new trees planted.

100% Canadian Maple

Canadian Maple is a strong and proven material used in the world’s best skateboards. We source only the finest veneers found in Eastern Canada.

DEEP CAVE

Concave designed to really lock your feet in while adding responsiveness and control.

Kicktail

Take your skating into the third dimension with a kicktail. We design our kicktails to work perfectly with each deck shape as well as with the truck and wheel setup on each complete.

MULTI WHEELBASE

Precisely dial in your ride with multiple mounting options for your trucks.

PRE-CURED FIBERGLASS

Fiberglass is a lightweight yet extremely resilient material, used to either add extra stiffness to a solid maple board, or replace some maple plys and provide a snappy flex to a thinner flexy board.

Fenders

Also known as pressed wheel wells, flares are part of the board shape. The resulting bumps in the concave on top allow for larger wheels, looser trucks, and provide better control and more precise foot placement.

Watch the Freedive Reef in action

The Freedive is a stiff, high performance downhill board that is 36.8” long by 9.6” wide with variable wheelbases from 23 to 23.5”. It features subtle micro drops and wheel flares to keep your feet planted over the trucks and flushmounts to keep the ride height where it needs to be and your trucks running flat. It is pressed in Kimberley, BC from 7 plies of Canadian Maple and 1 ply of fiberglass for extra torsional stiffness and durability. We set these completes up with 155mm Gen 6 Grizzlies on 40 degree baseplates for a confident, stable ride, as well as 70mm 78a Supremes for super smooth slides with just enough grip.

Trucks

Wheels

We design our trucks and wheels to fit perfectly with each individual deck. We work tirelessly to ensure these elements come together to provide the best control and performance for your board. No slop, all control. Don't accept anything less than the perfect complete.   Learn More >

Flex Rating

Flex has a big impact on the overall feel of your board and is influenced by a bunch of different factors. The main ones being thickness of the deck, it's wheelbase and rider weight. To put the equation in laymans terms: more flex occurs when you decrease thickness of the deck, increase the wheelbase and increase rider weight. The more flex in your board the more carvy and agile it'll feel, less flex means it's more stable and suited for faster skating. We test every complete with a device we built in house, specifically to standardize flex ratings.

Decent Set-up

I took advantage of the recent sales and Grabbed two set ups. I can say that I am satisfied with the price and quality. The freedive Reef demands a little bit of a short stance with your feet. It is good for most people 5,10 and under. I am 5,9 but like a slightly wider stance. Still a great board. I recommend for beginners as well as more seasoned riders looking for a board that is all around and good at a little bit of everything. I put Vicious grip tape, RipTide foot stop, Venom bushings, Various wheels. 81a snakes pictured for big slides.

This is a really good board as a complete

I bought this as a complete knowing I would screw with it. I rode it out of the box and it was pretty damn good. But, on the trucks I ditched the cones for barrels roadside and put high duros board side and it's now fun AF. I put 1/4" risers on it in anticipation of getting Cheetah wheels but got fucked on those (LY customer service needs tweaking). Even so, the 70 mm mint Hawgs are good wheels and did well until I put Seismic speed vents on it and now it really rocks.

Bottom line is that it's great out the box. The deck is about as good as it gets for me (I have dozens decks from 70s to present)--just the right amount of concave, width and length for me (5'10", 10 shoe size,). The Grizzly trucks are good--just set them up with bushings to your liking. Maybe add some 1/8" shock pads to kill some vibes on rough roads.

I highly recommend this board.

Recommend for big riders

I ordered the complete setup and it has been absolutely amazing!! I am 6 ft 5in tall and weigh 300lbs and this board holds me with no give. I have only been about 10km on it, but it was a blast to ride!

Amazing Board

Has a lot of maneuverability, perfect for the hills in my town. Love the stuff deck with the fibreglass.

Cant find a better board!

The board is the perfect stiffness, very stiff with still a little bit of give. Feels very good under the feet. The graphic is really nice and is my favourite board so far. Recommend to anyone trying to learn to slide or if already experienced. One thing that would be nice is if it came with EZ Hawgs, unless your roads are rougher.
